We figured it was about time to put a few more pictures of horses on the "Skinner Horse Ranch"
Blog. The first two pictures are of our stud horse Cadet. Jerry just got a new harness and was trying it out on him. Mary Lou, I think this was the new type of harness that you were talking about. It really looked sharp on him.

This is Lady, she is the smallest adult horse that we have. Jerry was trying on one of the smaller leather harnesses, she hasn't been driven on the cart yet.

Saturday, September 9th, Dad had his 92nd birthday. He is not blurry, it is me. I finally figured out what I am doing wrong with the camera. We had dinner at his house, and then just visited. He is still pretty independent and getting along well.
On Labor Day Weekend (Sat. 9/2) we started over to Boise to take the Blue Truck over to Trailer Marketing to put on their lot to sell. We got to Bliss (about 80 miles east of Boise) and stopped at the rest area. We had oil all over the back of the truck, and it looked like we had a leak in the transmission, and it wouldn't start again. We left the truck there, and drove over to Nampa in the Buick. We spent a nice evening with Mark, Becky and Mike - went out to dinner and them came back to their house and watched a movie. The next morning we all went out to breakfast, and then we started back to Bliss. Couldn't get the truck started, so we called Jerry and he started down from Idaho Falls with the White Freightliner and trailer. After we both took a little nap, Jack started checking out the truck again. There was a little wire on the starter that came loose and the nut fell off. When he put it back together, the truck started right up. We met Jerry in Wendel, Idaho and he put the Blue Truck on the trailer and we all came back to Idaho Falls. The oil leak was caused by a $ 30.00 value gasket, so now we have to make the journey back to Boise again.
