April 13, 2016 - Jack & I stopped to visit my first cousin, Debbie near Austin, Texas. Debbie took us to a bridge that has a population of about 2 million bats that live under the bridge. They are called Mexican Free Tail Bats and they fly south every Oct/Nov to mate. Then all the females come back in March and the babies are born in June. They stay under the bridge all day, but at sundown they all come out and spend the night looking for food. It was pretty exciting to see.
