Friday August 28th, they delivered the bear we ordered to put on the tree stump in front of the Milo house. We are now waiting for the little bear that will go on the stump at the base of the big bear.
Thursday August 13th, Clyde, Hanna and grandchildren were in the Madison County Fair Parade in Rexburg, ID. The lighter color horse is our horse April and the darker one is Clyde's horse, Chubb.
A girl was riding Roman Style in the parade.
On August 12th we went up to Driggs, Idaho to watch 4 of the horses we donated to the 4H kids perform in some competitions. They all did a great job and all won some ribbons. There were 13 horses and kids in 3 events and 4 in the wagon pull. It was really something to see how well the kids have worked with the horses and how well behaved the all were.
This is Jessie Murdock - He came in lst place in the first competition.
These are pictures of Jessie Murdock - I didn't get the ages of the two boys.

These are pictures of Russell Murdock - he did very good considering he had a broken foot.

This is Jessie and Russell with their dad. They hitched both of their horses for the wagon pull.

This is both Ashley and CJ in the lst competition.
These are pictures of Ashley Hopkins - 14 years old.

These are pictures of CJ Hopkins - 10 years old.

Craig (left) and Kelly (right) stopped to visit us today. I haven't seen Craig in almost 30 years, he was only 16 or 17 then. His mom, Karol, Jan and I paled around together for years, and all our kids spent summer vacations together in Michigan. It was really great to see him and we spent about 5 hours non-stop talking. He is a dean at one of the Community Colleges in Portland, OR. Not so far away, so maybe we will get to see him more often.
Vickie and me with our matching shirts that we got in Oatman, AZ. That was the little town that had all the burrows walking walking around town. Today Sonja had a cook-out in Milo, so we all met to eat and gab - food was really good.
Marie and Sonja
Jana and Arron
Ron and Wanda (my kinda daughter-in-law) and their dog, Cookie.
Pauline, Ryen and Ashlyn (love Ashlyn's new haircut).
