Well this is our new Baby. We rented a car one-way and drove to Denver to pick up our Smart Car. It is unbelievable how much room you have inside and how well it handles. I had no trouble going 79 and passing those big semis. We got between 44 and 46 miles/gallon coming home, which was pretty good considering the speed and the mountains. We should get 50+ driving around here. Not only that, it will match the Semi and the 5th wheel camper - couldn't ask for a better color.

While we were in Denver picking up our Smart car, Jack spotted a Jetta in the dealer's lot and called Mark. They have been looking for a car for Becky that would get decent gas mileage. After all was said and done, we brought this car back to Boise for Mark and Becky.

John & Sue took us to the Gardens of the Gods in Colorado Springs. These are just some of the pictures. It was really breathtaking.

On our trip to Denver to pick up our new Smart car, we were able to visit with my lst cousin John and his wife Sue who just moved to Colorado Springs about a year ago. I finally have a cousin West of the Mississippi. Their house is partway up a mountain and is just beautiful. Jack fell in love with their big rock in the front yard. We all went out to Jack's favorite restaurant "Hooters". It sure was great visiting with them.

Well this is the only picture that I took at the Avery Family Reunion. It was held at Aunt Idonna's house and over 130 people showed up. It was from July 17th to the 19th. Everyone had a great time.

This is my Dad and my Mon's sister - My Aunt Peg. We went to visit her on Friday afternoon.

Jack, my Dad and I at the restaurant Friday night. On Thursday we went out to the Casino Boat in Joliet, IL. My dad won $550.00 on a Keno Slot Machine. We had him quit playing when he got down to $500.00.

On Friday night a group of us went out to dinner. It was great seeing all of them again.

Well summer has finally arrived and Sonja got Samson a hair cut. He doesn't look like the same dog.

Well Ryen has joined the "Boys and Their Toys" group. It's a cool bike and he is saving lots of money on gas.

This is the truck that we bought last fall and our friend Delbert is buying it from us. Right now he is hauling acid from Portland, OR to Coal City, IL.

My daughter-in-law, Wanda had this made for her husband Ron. I thought it was really cute.

These are my grandsons from my marriage to Bob. This is Brian with his wife Stephanie and their two children - Tiffeny and Romeo. The sun was in their eyes, so we got some squinty pics.
