RHONDA & CHERRI

Cherri moved to Philadelphia last May after she graduated. She will be going to school there next year. Last month she went back home to Florida for a vacation and these are a few of the pictures that she took.

While I was back in Chicago, our new fireplace was installed. It really looks sharp.

Yesterday we picked up the new little semi that we had painted while we were gone to Mississippi. We had it done to match the 5th wheel camper.

THE WEDDING PARTY --- Trisha (Karen's niece) and Brian (Bobby's Navy buddy) stood up for the wedding. Brian's daughter, Cayla and his son, RJ we the ring bearers.

This is Bobby and Karen with Karen's parents - Hurbert and Marie. They drove down for the wedding and it was really nice to meet them.

Naturally the beaming mother and step-father. We flew in on Thursday and came home on Tuesday (waited almost 42 years for this event). We had a wonderful time, however we donated to the state of Mississippi at the casinos.

We have Steve, Rhonda and Luke with the newlyweds. They brought their camper over from Florida and stayed in a beautiful RV part only about 5-6 miles from Bobby and Karen's apartment.

This is the happy couple with Bobby's dad - Ron and his step-mother - Sharon. They drove down for the wedding and also got in a couple of rounds of golf.

This is Rob and Janette. Bobby grew up with them in Midlothian and they have stayed good friends. They drove down for the wedding.

This is Bobby and Karen with Bobby's Southern Mom & Dad - Sue and Allen. They have been Bobby's friends for many years, and he has always been able to count on their support.

Bobby and Karen got married at this Gazebo on the Navel Base. After the wedding we went back to the Club House by their apartment for the reception.

As you can see they are both big fans of Bubble Baths.

It is only 11:00 AM on Saturday, October 6th and guess what --- SNOW. Maybe this is a sign for the coming winter, we sure do need water out here.

Monday, Sept. 24th - The sad day has arrived. Kim, Morgan and Zach left to go back to Germany. Their vacation here just flew by and it didn't seem like it was time for them to leave.
We did get some good news on Tuesday - Zach was an angel on the flight home.

Thursday, Sept. 20th, Morgan, Zach, Jack and I went up to Bear World in Rexburg, Idaho.

On Saturday afternoon, Sept. 15th, we took 4 campers and headed up the the Wagon Wheel RV Park in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. We camped along this little stream with loads of geese and ducks. Saturday night we went to the Bar J Chuckwagon for their dinner and show. Dinner was good and the show was great. These are pictures of everyone milling around after breakfast on Sunday morning. On our way home we had to stop by Swan Valley for square ice cream cones.

Since all of Jack's kids, their spouses and grandchildren (except Sonja's son Luke) were in Idaho Falls on Saturday, Sept. 15th, we met at Freeman Park and had our pictures taken by a professional photographer. We haven't gotten her pictures yet, but these are some that I took with our digital camera.
